Title - Junior IT & Automation Intern
Job Overview:
The Junior IT & Automation Intern will support the IT team in managing enterprise systems, cloud services, unified communications, and security operations. This internship provides hands-on exposure to Windows Server administration, Microsoft 365, Azure, VoIP systems, access control technologies, and cybersecurity practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Enterprise Network & Windows Server Administration
a) Understand network architecture and Windows Server fundamentals.
b) Learn Active Directory setup, user/group management, and GPO configuration. c) Practice troubleshooting connectivity and performance issues.
2. Microsoft 365 & Azure Administration
a) Manage accounts, licenses, collaboration tools, and compliance policies.
b) Deploy/monitor Azure resources with cost optimization, high availability, and disaster recovery.
3. VoIP & Unified Communications (3CX)
a) Administer PBX systems, call routing, and voicemail policies.
b) Integrate with CRM and monitor VoIP performance.
4. Access Control & IoT Security (Axeze)
a) Install/configure RFID and manage access permissions. b) Maintain monitoring software and implement multi-site strategies.
5. Cybersecurity & Compliance
a) Enforce MFA, conditional access, and identity governance policies.
b) Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents using documented playbooks
